We research, we advocate, we film and we raise awareness — for environment and human security. A pioneering not-for-profit sharing company dedicated to safeguarding the planet and protecting vulnerable communities since 2009. By addressing the critical intersection of environmental degradation and human security, we implement sustainable, community-driven solutions that mitigate ecological risks and enhance resilience. For over a decade, we have partnered with global stakeholders, local leaders, and grassroots networks to ensure that marginalized populations are secure, ecosystems are restored, and future generations can thrive in a stable climate.

Brief Overview
Legally registered in 2011 under the Office of the Company Registrar, Ministry of Industry, Government of Nepal, THE-Nepal works to redefine social security. Social security addresses the overall well-being of both environment and people — the foundation of a sustainable, prosperous community. We identify prevailing issues and work to diminish them, building a zero-tolerance approach to the threats that keep communities unsafe.
The extreme negligence on certain issues from us has been a barrier to achieve a prosperous society. Hence, we run interactive programs addressing such issues and present it through multimedia platforms. We debate and advocate on multiple issues of society and present it to our viewers. Also, we incorporate various Eco (Green) practices that is helpful in development. We also designed the online portal with the aim to disseminate knowledge on various social issues amongst the general public within global platform.
Initiation
A COMBINED EFFORT
The formation of Together for Human & Environment in Nepal is a combined effort from the members of Team of Helping Hands for Healthy Environment-Nepal (THE-Nepal), a non-governmental organisation established in 2010, and a youth-led network, THE-GreenWatch, formed in 2009.
REGISTRATION
From those two roots the organisation took its registered form in 2011. Since inception it has led research, campaigns and projects addressing environment and human security, with major work focused on climate change, migration, education, disaster and digital awareness.

All projects may follow different approaches, but they hold one common core value: addressing the issues of human and environment at any level to ensure their security.
