Mr. Prawesh Limbu

Mr. Limbu is an IT Consultant by his profession. He is a remarkable Database and System Analyst and Senior Developer who is currently affiliated to THE Nepal since 6 years. Mr. Limbu holds a master degree in Software Technology (2012), from Polythenic University, Hong Kong. He has been part of various International Companies in Hong Kong and USA as Senior Data Analyst, Software Developer, IT Consultant, Project Manager, Network and IT Engineer, Free Lancer, Strategic Developer, Web developer and Graphic Designer. He has worked in reputed companies like ECHK, AT & T, DILLON SPORTS, RAMCHANDS, UPPAL HOSPITALITY GROUP, EASTEN Paradise and FAA Outsourcing (US). He started his career in 2005, since then he has worked in more than 500 projects e-commerce and information technology.

Mr. Bishnu Lal Gurung

Mr. Gurung popularly known as Jack Gurung and is former President of Dwarf Association Nepal. He is highly respected leader in his community for the contribution within his dwarf community where he managed various trainings and motivational seminars for their empowerment. In addition, the charities and fund raising events that was organized in his leadership is the key to the sustainability of Dwarf Association Nepal till today. Being a person with Achondroplasia Mr. Gurung had his own struggling period in early days. By profession he is a movie artist and comedy actor. His first debut in Nepali feature film “Jwala” was in the year 1994 followed by another movie Maili in 1999. In 2004, he went to Dubai for 8 years where he worked as a Cashier in a 4 star Hotel named Oasis Beach Tower. After his return to Nepal, he continued with his involvement in film industry as well as for the welfare of Dwarf Communities in Nepal.

Ms. Neeru Karki

Ms. Karki has made an incredible mark in the field of Research with many published papers in Dark Tourism. She represents THE-Nepal as a panelist at United Nations Youth Advisory Panel (UNYAP) since 2014. Ms. Karki is a keen enthusiast who holds a belief to contribute to society. She has the quality to build relationships with the local community and has the ability to transform her learning into her actions. With such ability Ms. Karki had received Narconon Drug Free Hero Award 2013 from then Hon. Vice President of Nepal Mr. Parmananda Jha for her contributions to society, to reduce the drug victims. She is currently involved as an emerging academician in Colleges like K & K International College and Sambriddhi International College. Her research and academic profile is backed up with a Master’s Degree in Conflict, Peace and Development Studies from TU in 2018. She also has been part of Senior Research Fellowship in International Relations at Sichuan University, China in 2018. Currently she has been conducting and assisting on research projects in the indigenous communities of the hilly and mountain regions of Nepal.

Mr. Prabin Shrestha

Mr. Shrestha has earned his name from his debut direction feature MOKSHYAthat shares his own story as a person living with Spinal Cord Injury since a very young age. Through his story, editing and direction, film Mokshya bagged three “Best Debut Director of the Year (2014) titles at Box Office Award, CG Kamana Award and D-Cine Award. He also won “Best Film of the Year (2014)” titles at D-Cine Award, “Best Story of the Year (2014)” at CG Kamana Award, two “Best Film Critics (2014)” titles at MINSK Online Filmy Khabar Award and NEFTA Award. He has also received “MAHA Jury Award (2014)” at NFDC National Film Award. Mr. Prabin had collected wide-range of experience through the direction of 100+ music videos and has edited 1000+ of it. In addition, he has also edited dozens of documentaries and TV Commercials/ PSAs and produced more than 2000 of promos for different companies of Nepal. His continuous title holding of “Best Music Video Editor of the Year” on 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th Annual Tuborg Image Award (2010-2013) and in 6th Bindabasini Music Awards 2015 has entitled him as one of the best editor in the country. He now is the successful Director/Editor with his own media production company. His injury did not stop him from being a successful person of he is now, just like what he has been sharing through his living.

Mr. Binaya Adhikari

Mr. Adhikari is a professional audio engineer who has been actively performing his job in recording, dubbing, mixing and mastering for various songs, cinema sound, radio jingles and drama as well as administration of studio since 2008. He has long experience in radio drama production and technical documentation of video and cinema sounds. He has pursued Masters in Media Technology. He has recorded, mixed and mastered the background music for many award winning films, short films and documentaries. He had coordinated many audio visual assignments for development projects during emergency situation in Nepal including Earthquake and other natural disasters and is responsible for many program run by THE-Nepal.

Mr. Badri Dahal

Mr. Badri Dahal is responsible for the office transport. He has served Armed Police Force of Nepal for 16 years. During his service period, he went in a Mission to Liberia for six months in the year 2062 B.S. After completion of Mission to Liberia, he served for prominent politicians like K.P. Sharma Oli and Sher Bahadur Deuba. He also worked for the Ministry of Home Affairs for two years. Mr. Dahal understands traffic laws and practices safe driving habits at all times and has been a great support for the company

Ms. Pabitra Thapa

Ms. PabitraThapa is a support staff who is reliable, loyal and dedicated person and has been an important asset for the team. Her support enables favorable office decorum for every other member to work excellently. Ms. Thapa has previously worked at Janak Siksha Samagri – a publication wing of Nepal Government, as a support staff for three year. Due to her experience and her dedication she has been able to maintain the decorum effectively since past four years as our support staff.

Ms. Ashma Limbu

Ms. Limbu finished her Bachelor in Social Work (BSW) from Divyebhumi Multiple College and has involved with THE-Nepal since 2017 as a multimedia intern. She is directly involved with presentation and reporting for visual program on various aspects of human security issues. Her patience and willpower during tough work environment was always in the mark that let her involve directly with senior program management team.
